What happens if I want to cancel my reservation?

As long as you are cancel at least 2 days before your arrival date you may cancel all, or part of, your hotel reservations FREE of charge. Even if you have to cancel less than 2 days prior to your arrival date you will only be charged the cost of your first nights accommodation on each rooms that you fail to cancel within the given period.

How do I cancel part of or all of a reservation?

Simply by going into the Order history or if you are a registered account holder the My account link on the home page.

Can I talk to someone about my reservation?

Sure, we understand that sometimes you just need to discuss the details of you reservation with a human being. Within the UK you can call us on 020 7584 6454, from outside of the UK you can call us on + 44 20 7584 6454. Just remember that the office is manned Monday to Friday from 0930 to 1730 GMT and Saturday 0930 to 1300 GMT.

What happens if I forget my confirmation email/voucher?

It is always best to take a copy of your confirmation email and voucher with you when you travel. If you have forgotten it, most hotels will still honour your reservation as long as you are able to show proof of your identification. You can also view and print the voucher from any internet connection as long as you have a record of your booking reference number and the email address from which you made this reservation, simply by going into the Order history or if you are a registered account holder the My account link on the home page.

Are my credit card details safe?

We use secure server technology to protect your credit card details so that they are encrypted when put into the relevant form in the website. Never send your credit card details in a normal email.

Why do I have to give you my personal details?

We need your details to complete the reservation process so that we can send you your reservation confirmation and contact you in case of any emergencies. During the booking process you are offered the option to decided whether you wish to be added to our database so that we can keep you informed of special offers and promotions. We strictly adhere to the United Kingdom Data Protection Act to ensure that you privacy is not compromised.

How do you calculate how much I am saving?

How much you save is calculated by comparing the official hotel rate (2 person room, twin / double) against the lowest rate available for the current month and the following month of the same room type.

Do you make reservations for other European Cities?

We are currently in the process of setting up a similar service for other key European Cities. It is our intention to provide our customers with the highest levels of service so if you require hotel accommodation in other European cities please just drop us an email at reservations@aboutrooms.com and we will do our best to be of assistance.

Does this site use cookies?

This site uses cookies for the sole purpose of maintaining a shopping basket type interface and to help make each subsequent visit to the site more productive. We do not use any third party cookies, all cookies served by this site are for use on this site only. We use two types of cookie, a session cookie, which is destroyed when you close your browser and a traditional cookie that is set to expire after 12 months.
